Three most valued things for me, because it is spreadsheet friendly, I feel comfortable pulling things out, messing with what I need, knowing I can go back in and get a fresh report and start over and because of that it is quick! So quick to pull data, no more asking for a programmer or waiting a couple days for someone to get to it. I can most times answer questions quickly while on the original call that will give the practice at least an idea of where the answer to their question is and rarely am I not able to do it for them the same day.
I no longer have to wonder if I can get data out of medical manager that will help my doctors and practices, I know it can do anything, and that is a huge relief from a management point of view. That has changed my mindset I don't feel like custom requests are cumbersome or time consuming. I have a lot more flexibility to dig deep into areas and get real answers--not guesses or percentages.
The most valuable thing is the extra data and answers I can give to a client. During this pandemic especially, I was able to quickly provide them with reports on the volumes, reimbursements. Checking all the Telehealth regularly to show the reimbursements and when things changed, the reports gave me all the information I needed if I had to make a claims correction or do appeals for additional reimbursement. Tableau was invaluable and helped me provide information to my practices that no one else was able. This kind of reputation is gold and it helped me obtain two of my 4 new clients in the last three months.
